while i was on hiatus, there a lots of updates on wheesung. now, i am going to breifly recap what he has done in the previous week in the following posts

i was so sad to know it when reading his fans updated us with the news in facebook. hope that he takes good care of himself and recover well soon.

by the way, i got to know that he and k.will is getting closer to each other after accidentally met at a drink party. i really adore k.will too and its a happy thing to see both my favourite getting closer. i am looking forward for a collaboration in future, hmm....maybe i just think too much. yet, the funny thing was k.will was infected first before wheesung. then he said that during that period of time, he only contacted wheesung. wow...wheesung is such a daring guy, knowing that k.will has swine flu but still meeting him. good friend indeed.

back to me, i was so busy lately. thanks to wheesung, i am trying to adapt this writing-journal habit. i bought two more new note books in hand as motivation to write more about my life, my feeling and everything that came into my mind. in future, it might be useful to reflect back the time that i have passed through.

[Ranting] its been a long time

since my last update.

has been quite free lately, putting myself in real hiatus mode.
meanwhile, still playing wheesung's latest album during drive.
i have adapted most of the song,
and i hate to admit it, its time that i shall put the cd to rest after weeks on non-stop play.

not in the good mood, after reading some negative reviews on wheesung's latest album.
but, i think this album represents him a lot.
the only problem they have is with their promotion strategy and techniques.

sometimes, i got angry when i think of this. i am still wondering why there were nothing put in place to promote the songs in the album. are they trying to cut the cost or something else.....

for me, creating a song is like giving birth to a child.
you must do something to let others know about the existence of your song and enjoying it with a remark that it was a great creation. but eyeing on some live performances and watching hanteo chart are not enough. its hard to let others discover you before you discover them as you will never know when will they ever discover you.

i still prefer the time when he was in YG, enough promotions and appearance in tv. sometimes, its important to let others see your personality before discovering your songs. the "entertainer" essence is important even if you are a true musician/composer/vocalist.

sorry wheesung, i know your fans must be going against me if they read this. i am just pure honest, feeling that its wasted as you put all your effort in this album and it turned out to be like this.

why the promotion for this album seems a bit quiet and slow?

its seems like nothing has been done to promote this album.
unlike other artist, they appeared more in music shows and etc. etc.
but in the case of wheesung, it seems a bit quiet, only performed his new songs for 5 times.

even fans helped him to promote his new album with the baby bus??




where have the marketing team gone?? our financial power is very very limited, so pls do something!!

i have to say that this is a very promising album. its would be such a waste if it passed by a lot of people that doesnt know wheesung well.

and i have seen people commenting that few other songs are more appealing than the current title song. well, sorry to say that wheesung, but i do hope that the other songs get publicized too.

and another note, i found that its quite funny to read the translated lyrics of "Girls". i personally love the song, before knowing the meaning of this song. but then, someone made me realized that the lyrics made them ( Real Slow, Chun Goon, VJ ) sounded gross old guys that like high school girls hmm......i dont mind actually. at least, he sounded like he is straight, right. ( he always have the nasty comment that him being a gay.

5. keeps thinking that other people around looks like 휘성.
6. keeps noticing each and every little thing on 휘성.

somehow, i love how korean tv shows plan a performance.
its always something new and fresh.
compared to two previous comeback, this one has no surprise.

the normal rate for a korean album in the local cd store is not more than RM 50.00
so, i might considering pre-order it through the local cd store. but i have to bear the risk that they might not have the stock at the end after letting you waited for weeks. sIGH! it would be nice to live in korea noW!!

and by the way, i did translate the above description through google translations and i am kind of confused whether this is a brand new album with brand new song or just a recollection of his best hit songs. the first line translated :

i am a little anxious now. honestly, i have never purchased nor own any of his cd to date. i know i am not a good fan compared to others, but this time, i will definitely make my purchase count. if only i can get him to sign me my copy, i will be the happiest person living on earth.

Fan Mail

its something common between fans. i admit that i used to write fan mails to my previous favourite artists, but that was long time ago. the most recent one was in 2004. i love to write to them, but i only posted 40% of it. the balance is kept everywhere in my books, magazines, etc. when i found those letter, i will open it, read and then dispose off. why? i just feel so funny that i ever wrote these kind of stuff and partially, not letting others know about it.

i am mentioning this as i read taegoon's profile yesterday. he mentioned that he do read fan mails and remember those who often write to him. one question in mind, do other artists really read fan mails like him?

honestly, i never write any fan mails to wheesung. basically i dont know korean and he doesnt know english well too. i believe that he will feel reluctant to read fan mails in english as he has thousands of it in korean.

talk about this, i am kinda of worried about wheesung's future. lets say if he succeed in us market ( most probably ), definitely he will has a huge fan base. then, i will have the chance to hear his songs played by the local radio and television. then, i will hear his ringtones everywhere. OMG....

but i really hope him the best. i do love everyone to love him, just hope that he could still be humble as he is back in korea.

leaving wheesung alone for his new album preparation, he came out with this big news.

"Korean singer/producer, Wheesung has recently inked a contract with Universal Music to release an album and is primed to make his American debut.

Grammy Award-winning songwriter and record producer, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, who helped produced Se7en's American album, will also be producing Wheesung's American album. Jerkins have previously produced albums for Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, etc.

This collaboration was made possible through songwriter, Kim Jeong Suk. He had heard that Rodney Jerkins had been looking to collaborate with an Asian singer, and Jeong Suk who is on good terms with Wheesung, recommended the latter to Jerkins.

Jeong Suk said, "When Jerkins heard Wheesung's songs, he decided immediately that he was the one. Regardless of Korea or overseas, many have hopes of working with Wheesung. This collaboration is particularly meaningful since it's the first time, an Asian singer is releasing an album in America with a company like Universal."

Wheesung's management said, "We have currently finished recording for 2 songs and are now pushing for collaborations with top American singers for performances in the near future. I dont know Korean but i loved korean songs ( especially Wheesung's song!!!). Anyhow, i really hope he will do well in US market, as he is really comparable to other US artists. He got the voice, talent, skill and look, and why not?

hopes wheesung doesnt pressure himself too much with netizen's expectations. well, a simple english lesson helps a lot ( or you can read my blog more often.)

its been a long time since my last update.
that was the latest news i have on him.
i have always wondering what he has been doing lately.
guess that he must be busy preparing his upcoming new album release.
i'll just have to wait patiently till he announces it .

worrying that i might have gone far away from him, now, i only got his old songs to keep me back in track with him.

this is a very important date in my life.

on this very day, i was introduced Wheesung.
It was through Insomnia Mv embedded in K-popped
Something has guided my to click the play button on the embedded youtube video.
and that moment was the first time of me hearing him.
his voice, was the first thing that got me attracted, hypnotized me to keep on clicking the "Play Again" button for the second time.
his eyes, was the second thing that got me clicked on the button again.
i started to love wheesung from that very moments onwards.

its been 5 months...

i still love hearing his voice, his songs and his laughter.

i love to see his smile and dance.

then, today, when i heard " A year after", something came into my mind
i was wondering, will i still love him even after a year?


one month to go to his new album release.

or else i wouldnt have dreamt that i watched his "Fantasy Girl" mv.
as i could remember well, the songs played clear in my ear for several times.

but in my dream, the introduction for this song was quite bad, slow sounded like whispering.

as for the mv, the introduction part was sexy as he danced solo with sexy outift, but then, the chorus part was a bit boring, a scene like "love is delicious" where he sang with his dancers. there were some talking too.


i wished that the real MV wouldnt turn be so.

the teaser is not official yet

i didnt know that the teaser is not yet official for the promotion of wheesung upcoming new album.

i posted a clip few days ago, mentioning that it was a release of teaser for wheesung's new album while questioning the source of the video. at first, i thought that it was officially released from his cyworld as i dont have cyworld account.

then, yesterday, some fans commented in a forum that the video has been made private by the uploader. the uploader did not have the intention to share the video publicly as wheesung hasn't made it official yet. its a sensitive issue, so, hopes that everyone will keep quiet about this.

hopes that they will not be affected by this and the recording goes smoothly as expected.

but wheesung oppa, any teaser for the cover of this album yet????

i just got this fresh from youtube. uploaded by pridevideo, its a kind of teaser of wheesung doing his new song recording in studio and some dance at outdoor. i'm wondering where does the uploader get the video from. maybe, he is one of person involved in the recording as the video uploaded is in HQ format.

well, the good news is that we can have listen part of his new song in this clip. guessed that the name of the song is 'Fantasy Girl' as the chorus suggested so. i'm surprised to hear that its an ENGLISH SONG. is he planning to enter US market? anyway, i really liked this song at first time of hearing it as it's a dance song like Insomnia.

the funny part is that they inserted some clips of them dancing on the street in LA. i found this funny as one of the dance was so busy typing message on his phone when wheesung and the others were dancing.

he looked a bit blur at the first part of the video. as he is still using a translator, guessed that he can't speak english fluently. but he did a great job for the pronunciation of English words in this song.

after seeing this clip, its a bit too much of me to expect a full ENGLISH album from him this time.

Hiatus~~

i am on my hiatus, just like our dear wheesung.

heard that he is in LA now, done 2 shows at a club there and saw the fancam. he looked great. i prefer him with straight hair. he looked chubbier than before. but happy to see that he is healthy.

SHORT PANTS???!! and burgers and fries. Oh..i love those food.

i guess those people around him are his dancers. so good to have many people accompanying him at foreign land. again, i guessed that he will be alone with some producer there for a recording which takes about a month.

well...wish him good luck there.

and got the news recently that he will be flying to Mongolia on the 17th to perform in a Korean Music Festival show there. He will be back to LA on the 21st again to finish off the recording. this worries me as AH1N1 is spreading widely everywhere. Hope that he takes care of himself well, packed with dozens of masks wherever he goes.

i am so happy to know that wheesung sang my favourite song in "tHe Man" concert. i have never seen him perform this song live before. as i expected, he did not sing the climax part of this song, maybe playing it safe. anyway, i am very excited to hear him bringing it well and flawless.

[personal] A non wheesung post....Sad truth

first of all, this is a personal post about myself. it has no relation to wheesung, but the reason i'm posting here is that i wanted to share with others my feelings.

now, i feel terribly sad for the truth that i got to know recently.

not trying to hide it from the public, i am honestly to disclose here that my father has another family other than the one i'm living in. he has a daughter with the mistress that he has and she has grown to 19 years now. being living in such family is hard, when you will share your father's love and affection with another persons. i might had contributed 100% to him, but what i only have in return is just 50% from him. it goes the same with my mom.

time flies so fast that we are now grown up. my father is getting older and near to his retirement soon. i have no choice but to work with him, one is to secure his wealth and another is to supervise his spending power and actions during work. certainly, i got to known a lot of things and the sad part is that, i couldn't tell my mom about it. the reasoning why i kept my mouth shut is to avoid fight and quarrels at home. we had so much of it and grew tired of the scars it left.

it's even sadder when my father is expecting so much from us without thinking that he can only contribute his 50% to us. there were times that we failed to deliver what he wanted, but that is human nature. We do make mistakes. he never appreciate us, but scolded us in return. as he is living with us, we found it harder and harder to communicate with him.

until recently, i got to know that he has been treating his "another daughter" so well. Relatives has told us that they saw them together dining out at expensive restaurants frequently. they saw him buying things in large scale, for the size of two families. he dared to spent his money on her but always being stingy to us. everything he bought home something, very little thing, i got so frustrated thinking that this is the balance to us after distributed to "some people". Are we your rubbish bin?

he never bring us to those expensive restaurants. he always chooses the cheap place to dine out with us. why is he treating us like that even we are the official family of his. what have we done wrong?

is he having an excuse to repay back what he cant give to her? that is your own mistake and not ours. we have no rights to be sacrificed.

why?

i feel very unfortunate.

even we have his body, we lose his soul.

he is busy with his recording now, i supposed. i really hope that he could take good care of his health by drinking more water and having enough sleep.

the King of Pop has gone but he will remembered forever. it was such a great loss to the whole world as he has changed us and many people in the music industry.

personally, i loved him when i was a little kid.

i can see his shadow in Rain, Taegoon, Matsujun and even Wheesung.

may he rest in peace.

Where is he going?

after read and posted about the news that Wheesung changes agencies, i started to wonder, who are his colleague-to-be.

first, he mentioned M to M. i have no idea about this group. i started my research with google and it ended up with nothing. then, as usual, i went to youtube to search for their video. ok, at least i managed to find some of their MV





not bad. i love Drama Type very Suspense Songs. Its not easy to sing this type of song as it requires a very powerful vocal to make it suspense.

then, the 2nd person he mentioned is Kim Jong Wook. google search returned me with a photo of a young good looking guy. as to hear his voice, i found this in youtube.



hmmm....very soft.


really hope that he could find the 4th Album Love Love Love's wheesung back. i really love his style of music there. songs like Naega norul idnunda, luv shine, walkin in the sky and a year after.

but still, i prefer him doing dance and pop type of music, the insomnia cover that he did. wouldnt it be good if he has an album with all covers of the popular dance and pop song, for instance Neyo Closer.

Wheesung LA Concert

and read from SRadio Club that Wheesung changes Agency. As long as he is happy, he can move anywhere. hope that he could find a place where he can express his talent and skill in music production.

and now, he is in US working out for his new album. i'm looking forward for his new album soon. i really hope that they will imitate the Japanese style of releases, where they include an extra DVD for the MV of the album. I believe that the album will sells good if they giveaway extra bonus for fans...

Tae-goon sought the help of singer/songwriter Whee Sung, 27, whom he calls “master.”

New singer Tae-goon (real name Kim Tae-goon, 23) had a hard time when he just debuted, because one netizen posted his debut song, “Call Me,” without any musical accompaniment to show how poor his singing skills were. Back then, Tae-goon had already earned the nickname “second Rain” because he bears a great resemblance to Rain and has impressive dancing skills. His debut music video also drew significant attention because it featured Hero of TVXQ, his close friend from his hometown of Gongju, South Chungcheong Province.

Facing so many unexpected difficulties, Tae-goon wrapped up his debut activities and decided to take a break. We met with Tae-goon, who has recently released his second album, “Rising Star.” He said, “Back then, rather than being hurt, I was frustrated to hear people saying that I only practiced dancing and applied no effort to performing the song properly. I had practiced for a long time, because I failed auditions 100 times, but apparently it didn’t show. That’s why I was exasperated. I failed to incorporate my singing and dancing skills because I practiced singing and dancing separately.”

Tae-goon sought the help of singer/songwriter Whee Sung, 27, whom he calls “master.” Whee Sung still receives vocal training despite having already gained high recognition for his singing talent. To Tae-goon, he has all the qualities to be his role model. Whee Sung has helped Tae-goon not only to hone his vocal skills but change his lifestyle as well. Tae-goon reports daily to Whee Sung via text messages what time he gets up, when he has meals and what songs he practices, and Whee Sung replies to his messages regardless of the hour.

“Master Whee Sung not only made me a better singer but he also improved my lifestyle. Though he himself sleeps less than four hours a day, he tells me to get eight hours of sleep every day and eat healthily, because singers can perform well and exude energy only when they feel well. Surprisingly enough, I feel much more comfortable now when I perform on stage,” said Tae-goon.

We asked Whee Sung what he thought about being Tae-goon’s teacher. “Tae-goon has the potential to rise to stardom and his singing skills are good enough and he can carry even high tones. He fell into despair because everybody told him he was bad. I made him sing ‘Call Me’ more than one thousand times to make him realize how easy it was,” said Whee Sung.

Whee Sung wrote the lyrics for Tae-goon’s song “Super Star” and wrote another song from his new album. Tae-goon said, “I heard that many singers end up crying when recording with Whee Sung. That’s probably because he makes them sing again and again to make them display their talent to the fullest. But I like how he uses encouragement and advice.”

when i was reading the part where Master made Teagoon singing "Call Me" for thousand of times just to let him improve his singing skill. is he doing this to himself too. remember his famous-out-sync-incurable-disease-caught-on-cam incident? i was wondering, did he sing it thousand of times to hit the high notes ? undeniable, he did sing Incurable Disease so well now, maintaining his live and studio alike standard.

The Man concert

the news about the concert was quick that photos had been uploaded on internet. however, it was totally different from what i've expected. from the poster, i imagined that it will be a dancing theme concert with him wearing suits and hat like he did in The Soul Concert. However, it turned out to be a different way.

anyway, i'ts nice seeing him in good condition compared to his Wheeshow concert in Japan. In the last concert in Japan, he looked tired, sweaty and exhausted. but this time, he felt good and comfortable performing in his own homeland. no more sweat and tired look. i really love his outfit for this concert. red shirt reminds me of the cover of his 5th album, and somehow resembles of micheal jackson.



i wonder where can i get this black shirt as i really love the wings. the sexy part is the see through part, right at his stomach. this reminds of me of his 6th mini album cover, the black strips shirt.



finally, the combination of red and black is just fine and nice.
